Built by Raja Man Singh Tomar in the 15th century, this palace is the crown jewel of Gwalior Fort. Its exterior is adorned with elaborate tiles of turquoise, green, and yellow in geometric patterns featuring ducks, elephants, tigers, and crocodiles. The underground dungeons were later used as a Mughal prison where Aurangzeb held his brother Murad.
